Damn! Of all the excellent agent's at Heritage, I get stuck with this proven ASHO!
I had a rather small complaint with the way the "get out of your halftime wager was written up!"
I called earlier today and talked to a female agent about how I was under the impression I could cancel my "straight wager" on my total bet at halftime? Wrong!
I had waged all but a few funds on the over, figuring I can always bail at halftime?
But, I did mildly complain about the way the rule is written up. It plainly states "get out of your bet at halftime!" Then the rules: This promotion applies to STRAIGHT wagers only. Then on to some etcs , the limit, 500, and so on.
Then, "she" suggested she would talk to a supervisor and see about a possible bonus because of the misunderstanding.
Well later on tonight, I called to see if they were in the mood to understand how someone new at this "special" could make a mistake because of the way the rule is written and to see what the supervisor's decision was.
I have been hearing about this special from Heritage for weeks, so I was anxious to test the waters, not hearing from anyone about POINTSPREADS only!
Well I had the bad luck of getting MURPHY on the phone, whom I have become irritated with before with his blunt and arrogant attitude on at least two or three occasions, previously. [but kept quiet]
First, he wants to get personal when I asked to see the rule online so I can see how I was blind enough to make that mistake.
Then he starts popping off about how "it plainly states that No totals," and he just can't understand how I could possibly want a refund or any kickback.
Actually, MURPHY, I only called to inquire about the decision that was made. Not knowing if the supervisor had made a decision yet.
Then "sweetie" MURPHY states,"you're always trying to come up with something!"
Wow! Now, I did get hot!
So then I said, that's getting a little personal M, what are talking about? He then preceded to blab for 30 seconds and I couldn't even get a word in! [ there is nothing there , believe me]
I've had nothing but excellent service with these people and never had a serious complaint before.
Well, until I met Mr. Murphy this football season, the deposit man, only, I thought?
Well, only a mild one a week ago, when Heritage sent me an email Tuesday morning stating I was a winner on PTP contest. [Their mistake, even though I was one loser away] Yet, believing I was a winner, so I called to see what I had won, figuring second place is worth a 100 at least?
No winner, they made the mistake, but would give me a 100 free-play anyway for the error. I did appreciate that, and told them so.
Finally I did reach the man I wanted to talk to, Eddy, a supervisor, and I explained to him the "why" I made the mistake. If the rule had been stated "plainly," I would not have make the oversight.
However, I DO take the responsibility for the mistake I made. Case closed!
But that other can of worms that popped up, now, I do have a serious complaint about MURPHY and his attitude! So I preceded to fill him in on what a jerk he was, and didn't want his opinion anyway!
Here is how the rule should be stated so to protect the blind, gullible, and newcomers new to this wager:
Side, STRAIGHT SPREAD LINE,OR SIDE WAGERS, ONLY!, NO other type wagers will be honored!
Now that's plain and simple, and right up front.
Please, anyone else that has any personal issues with that M guy, let a supervisor know about it!
It's only fair, yet, "plain and simple!"
EXCUSSEEE MEEE, for this too long post! I was hot, now I am cool.
