I am one of the players that had major problems with BetonStars over the last month. I had contacted Bill regarding the situation. I wanted to let other players know what is going over there.
(1) I want to thank Bill for his help. He has been on top of things and has been in constant contact with me to do what he could to make sure that my $8k was not simply withheld. He is real reliable and one of the few people that I was able to count on during this process to be truly attempt to make sure what was right ended up happening.
(2) Some of the guys that work at BetonStars are absolute clowns. But after being entrenched in this nightmare of their having $10k of my money for almost a month wihtout agreeing to pay me, I finally got in touch with the owner Johnny.
Johnny, just so that you guys know, seems to be honest and ultiamtely kept his word. He told me that he would personally make sure that I got all my oney and he did that (note - there it took 1 week longer than he said, but we got stuck because he flew out of the country and we had a hard time getting in touch, etc.). To be honest, he seems like a sincere guy. He ultimately paid me all of the money, and I think that the fact that he ultimately kept his word is meaningful.
Also, John, one of the customer service managers, is a good guy, and I beleive tried to make that BetonStars did the right thing (I dealt with him when Johnny was away).
(3) Some members of the staff are clearly less than honest and not trustworthy. In particualr, Donald - one of the guys he has answering the phone - hung up on me approximately 45 times in a row on a night when I was calling to find out about my pending payout. The guy just does not care. He is only a worker there, and I plan to speak to Johnny about getting rid of him.
