They should play on ppv and donate the proceeds to charity. I also think Kobe would kill him, but it would be fun to watch.

Could be the favorite. Bad shot selection doesn't matter much in a 1v1. I always considered him a great 1v1 player, but LeBron should be considered the better player in 5v5 to any rational person.

I think seeing games of 21 and 1v1 would be fun to see regularly during the All Star break, maybe alternating each of the two along with the dunk contest such that each runs once every three years.

What a joke. LeBron would school him.
Kobe isn't quick enough to get around him and avoid LeBron gaining decent block position by the time he gets to the basket, meaning too many jump shots to win a one-on-one game. LeBron could just outmuscle him down low for his own points. He may not have a great post-up game, but with such a size/strength advantage over Kobe he wouldn't need one when there are no help defenders.

That's sounds like a great idea. That would be really fun to watch. You should write a letter and suggest that to Stern.

if we are talking about some real 1on1, no zebras, give me lebron. Id like to see kobe try to drive through lebron. Of course Kobe could beat lebron 1 on1 but lebron could just as easily win.

Id take Kobe, but not with a bum knee. You bet on Kobe because he's a better shooter, also a better shooter with pressure in his face. Although watching that holiday game last year or whenever it was, LeBron's defense on Kobe about shut him down.

If it was a full-court game, which would be retarded, then Lebron would have a chance. The reason Lebron is so good is that he just barrels into the lane like a freight train and draws a foul or scores. In one-on-one, you have an array of moves or a post game or great footwork or a great pull up jumper or a few other things that lebron doesn't have.

All LeBron would have to do is give him a hard foul or two. LeBron is too physically imposing and too fast.
[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.

You think Kobe can't handle physical play?

If Kobe didn't win at least it would qualify him to bang lebron's mother. She's a team slut.

Except Where LBJ has better numbers almost across the board, including statistics that are lowered in playing with mediocre teammates, and KB has averaged far better teammates in his career than LBJ. Championships are a TEAM accomplishment. Anyone who wants to argue otherwise can tell me specifically which championships the Lakers wouldn't have won if they had LBJ instead of KB, and any Cleveland would have won also if players were switched.

LETS SEE HERE:
Compare Lebron's season in 07- where his roster was about the same as the year that Kobe averaged 36/game.
Lets compare the numbers why don't we. Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, Luke Walton all in the starting lineup.

Lebon is not a good shooter and that is important in a one on one type match
I do not even think matches would be close
Kobe would rarely miss

I definitely think Kobe Bryant is right that he is a natural one on one player. Just look how much of a ball hog he was when Shaq was on the lakers

This is a stupid argument. Neither of these guys could stop the other consistently in a game of one-on-one. Lebron's size and strength would probably give him one or two stops and that would be the game. Lebron can drive all day on Kobe and Kobe can fake and hit fadeaways all day on Lebron.

Kobe is a one on one style player. I think he could be Lebron, but basketball is a team game and that is how Lebron COULD have an edge. I think we all know this is Kobe Kingdom until he is knocked off.

Lebron would easily be able to back Kobe down for an easy dunk every time. Or just drive around him for a dunk/layup. Sure Kobe could get lucky and hit 11 straight long, contested, fadeaway 20 footers...but let's be realistic, he shoots like 45%.
Lebron gets 1 possession and it's over. Let's remember he's got about 60lbs and 3 inches on him, is just as fast, can handle the ball better and can jump higher.
