I've been tracking it, but you guys can rest easy that you've all lost, except the guy that took MBI. MBI is up like 250% in on week so far. There's no way anyone will catch him unless there's a total collapse. I know my stock will never grow more than 25% in one year's time, much less one week.

A stock that goes up that much in such a short time will come down just as fast.

SBR_John said the thread would be locked, but I think I've seen posts in that thread after the locked date.

It would be nice to have a chart to watch. Don't be discouraged about early rises and drops, this goes all year. Has anyone vetted the picks for market cap. The bar was set really high in my opinion and a company that doesn't actually meet the cap will have an easier time of having a higher percentage gain just on volume requirements.

is that stock have over a Billion market value? or whatever it was called that John said it had to have.
i think he said the prices would be whatever the closing price was that friday, which was the 18th. i looked at mine and it was around 84 on friday, i think, and then on tuesday after the holiday mine had dropped to around 76, but i think its back to around 79-80 now.

So, I should head right out to a broker and short MBI?!
I realize MBI is volatile, but you can't ignore a 250% increase. That's one hell of a head start on the field, I don't care what the junk stock is.

Looks like whoever took MBI market timed that one masterfully. Good job, I think the winning move may have been made. They must of had a good quarter after a beat down. Still though a year is a long time, and a bear market has a way of chopping down stocks. Even the ones that don't deserve it.

I love it. It's the logo from a grocery store chain in Wisconsin that went bankrupt back around 1980. One still exists in Green Bay, Wisconsin that is now owned by a mom & pop. I remember the commercials when I was a kid. The Red Owl logo would snap on the screen, and some guy would yell "Red Owl!", off camera in the background, and then a lightning bolt would flash and make lightning bolt noise. It was actually really trippy. One of those very early childhood memories burned into my innocent mind.
