Interesting Prop...Will the coin toss land Heads or Tails?
    HEADS -130
    TAILS EV

If it's 50/50, why are the books favouring HEADS?
Is there some ongoing trend for HEADS?

Someone please feed me the inside info

betters are more inclined to take heads. The books job is just to split the action.

Do you guys see value in Tails even though it's been Tails for the past 10/11 years?

And what's this I hear about the Heads side being "heavier"?

I knew about this two days ago prior to your post so I had already conveniently posted it in other forums .

          So, what's the big secret?

Nope. It's to manage risk properly, which would explain this.

It's a coin people...50/50 either way. If any place offers +101 or better, heads or tails, play it. Pokernut, stop messing with the kids

The key word in the post you quoted would be "properly". In the case of this bet, 50/50 action is ideal because both sides are equally +ev for the book. However, this is definitely not the case for normal sports bets.
