#2Damnit...I got a loan for 150 paid back 165 last night, and threw all my winnings (160) on Miami tonight.
I guess I'll go back out looking for loans.Comment -

#3Oh and Fellas, A little glitch in the software, that I found out last night.
I won some points early on, and went back to pay back the Loan I took out, so I didn't lose all my points/and loaned points. So I pay back the loan, go back in to play. I was playing at 2 tables and had 80 at each table when I started, ended up with 110 or so at each table, and backed out of the software. Paid back 165, so I had 55 left over points. I tried rejoining the tables, and it said "since you have left the session, you must buy in with the same chips you left with, or wait 30 minutes" Since I didn't have 95-120 points I couldn't join back into 2 of the tables. And there was only 1 other table that was 1-2 NL. that table was full with 1 person on the wait list.
So I had to wait 20 minutes or so, until I could finally join back into a table.
Moral of the story is : don't leave a table, then try to join back in that same table with less points than you left with before. (while leaving the session all together; Closing out of SBR Poker completely)Comment -

That's the software working as intended. It is to prevent someone who makes a profit from taking chips off the table then coming back with less chips. Full Tilt does the same. If you want to remove some winnings best bet is to pick a new table to join.Comment -

#6Suggestion:
Once this is open to everyone, you are going to need some lower limit tables and/or single table tournaments. A normal buy-in at 1/2 cahs game would be about 100. Considering it takes a non-pro nearly 3 weeks to earn that much, the game will die out really quickly once the intial interest (and stored up points) is gone. The system can obviously handle fractional points, so there is no reason why a .50/1 or .25/.50 table, for example, should be an issue. Additionally, recreational real $ poker players prefer tournaments to ring by a large margin. I see no reason why points would be different.
Thanks for your consideration,
ThaddeusComment -

I didn't know this. I usually play only at Full Tilt and only play Sit n Go's. Hardly ever played ring games, and if I did, I don't think I ever noticed this rule.
Good to know fellas, and thanks for clearing it up.Comment -

#8I very much appreciate the quick note in the initial post--"Software does not currently support Macs."--so that I (or anyone else) need not continue to ask every time a new game is offered, in case the software has been updated. I'm sure I've been borderline obnoxious in asking... it's tough to find answers amongst the double-digit-page posts when someone has already asked the question.
So, my final question in regards to the SBR poker client and Mac compatibility: Is there a date, or a rough time period, that it will likely become available/compatible on Macs? I feel like I'm losing out on bunches of money right now.
and P.S. - Why the hell hasn't Bodog got around to making their shit compatible yet?Comment -

If SBR opens it up to non pros like they should it will be very busy
