What's with the attraction for kids to go nuts over this Hannah Montana brat?
It's really gotten to me as to what the hell attraction kids have watching this Hannah Montana kid on t.v.where the parents are taking out loans to buy tickets to see her from scalpers?

I channel surf allot so I have seen this kid and there seems to be nothing special about her.She would at least have some humor value if she had a mullet like her old man Billy Rae Syrus. The kid is actually pretty unattractive and is annoying so what's the attraction?

Man,between her and the old man Billy the one hit, Achy Breaky Heart wonder, they don't have an ounce of talent but have made themselves into manufactured stars.

I'm serious about this but are there any parents here who's kids are crazy over Hannah Montana and can you give me the reason why?I would have been embarrassed to say I was into this stuff as a kid.

Probably the same reason as kids my generation was all over Captain Kangaroo and Sky King. I recall a big stink in our house back in 1959, I believe -- Could've been last week the way my memory works these days -- over going to see Capt Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans at the Majestic in San Antonio. Not sure what the tickets were, but in 1959 dollars I'm sure they were dear to my pop.

Brent, if you're over 18 I would hope you wouldn't like her. She is popular because of her show and right now she's good for kids because she hasn't turned into a slut yet. My two daughters love her and that's ok. However, I refused to pay scalpers prices for tickets to see them. She will be coming to the rodeo here in Houston and tickets are less than $20.

i think you could be excused if you were 5-6 years old ,about having NKOTB stuff. Now if your my age when they were big my junior and Sr. year in high school then i might hold it against you. i remember one of them got arrested when they came in concert here(Louisville), he caught his hotel room on fire or some shit.

About the original post. all i know is, i wish i knew how big of a frenzy it was going to be, cause i would of been buying up tickets left and right as soon as they were released, and then putting them on stubhub, cha-ching baby!
maybe i need to pay attention to whats going on in the pop culture world, and make a few extra green backs. i've bought UFC tickets early in the past, knowing i wasn't going to go, and then flipped them on stubhub. Easy Money.

You would probably need to have kids younger than about 14 or so.

People lucky enough to have gotten their hands on Hannah Montana tickets could have sold them for a huge profit. I saw where her concert tickets were selling for a couple thousand each.
