How do you think the NFL should implement a 17th regular season game?

maybe the match in london (i didn't watch either) was popular because it was a one time thing, i don't know. maybe moving one game a year to the rest of the world will be a good move, but no way american football will ever be big outside north-america.
in my country they used to air the superbowl a few years back. it was cancelled because nobody was watching, it's just different culture, and there are a lot of popular substitute sports like soccer and well maybe rugby. the three other American sports, baseball, basketball and hockey imo have way more potential over here (if they play their cards right).

anyway, as far as i know fifa originally stands for Fédération Internationale de Football Association. shark must have been confused with the spanish translation.

        This is changing BIGTIME!!

People in the states are more into soccer then they ever were... It's growing very fast as suburb parents are going to Soccer practice to pick their kids up...

FURTHERMORE, women play soccer and NOT football in HS and leagues before and after HS...

I believe your statement is about as of of date as "The Pet Shop Boys"...

In the last 30 years I have seen the so called "ARAB" culture changed quite a bit... Just because something always was does NOT mean that won't change... It will change you'll see... I bet people in the 50's couldn't see white's and blacks mixing to the degree they do now but that changed... If that can change in a culture almost anything can... Things just happen so gradually nobody ever notices...

You people expect them to sell out NFL Europe games...? Those wouldn't sell out here how are they going to see out there..? There are football leagues abroad I know this FOR SURE!

maybe it's my english but I didn't quite get the point you were trying to make in the end of your post.

anyway, while some things change, some things also don't. unlike for example basketball which has become very much a world sport, american footbal represents "the American way" to a lot of europeans (and probably to the rest of the world, i don't know).
here it really has the image it is mainly invented by business men to make as much money as possible. 5 seconds of play, 10 seconds of commercial break, that kind of thing. I don't want to start an argument whether this is true, but this really is the image of American football in my country.
Since "the American way" is definitely not so popular around the world (to put it mildly) as it was for example fifteen years ago (and no hope for improvement in the short term), a sport which is seen as extremely American I believe has no momentum at all to grow to become a world sport.

Agree leave football here in the USA, Soccer is the choice for Europeans you dont see the EPL the most popular soccer league in the world coming over here to play games.

Yes I see your point and I agree with it... It's that way in the country I was born in as well... My over all point is that this perception will change... I'm also not saying it will change to the point where Football will be the most popular but it will change enough to be accepted globally...

There are older generations in the Arab culture that couldn't imagine the "Western Culture" gainning acceptance and they are beside themselves today... TV allowed this change to take place and "PRGRAMMING" even available to them is changing this as we speak...

Humans and animals have one thing in common and that is they follow the heard! Once it starts to gain acceptance it will grow!
