True, but I feel someone should be tried for each run-in separately. If he got away with beating someone up because they waited until the statute had expired, that's their fault. Just because you win when you're guilty, that doesn't mean you should lose when you not guilty because of it.

I think all have the same thug mentality (Moss, Pacman, Vick, etc.). They think it’s OK to beat up human beings, male or female, and even animals that are defenseless. You never hear that Moss or Pacman got in a fight with Mike Tyson. They will only hit someone once they know they are defenseless and that’s why they are thugs and cowards.

Sorry, I'm just not convinced that Moss is stupid enough to intentionally injure a woman that close to Super Bowl time. I really do believe it was an accident and he's being blindsided by this chick.

It would be interesting to see if there had been any other "accidents" over the 11 years of their friendship that went unreported.

If she were injured to the point she needed medical attention, and wasn't able to drive herself, there is this thing called "9-1-1". She didn't call them. She didn't make a report to the police. Instead she went to a lawyer and asked for half a million dollars.

I'm not a huge Moss fan. I think he is one of the many with a thug mentality that demeans professional sports. But, that said, he has never been told to sit out at least a year or so like PacMan and Vick.

Get your facts together. She was prevented by Moss to call 911. He took a page from another thug's book named Artest!

Okay...and when he left? She couldn't have called then? If he prevented her...why not charge him with that too? It IS a felony.

Hey Pavy, he left at some point. 911 is a 24/7 service.

Apparently, her hand was injured in a "degrading manner" according to the guy who tried to extort Randy. Now, Randy did contemplate paying the guy off at some point, which tells me they were doing something sexual or out of the norm, maybe an odd fetish that he didn't want surfacing for the embarrassment factor right before the AFC Championship Game.

So maybe they were doing something really kinky and somehow her hand was fractured or something, Randy offered to pay medical bills plus extra for "pain or suffering", was willing to pay 100k but not 500k. So I think it's clear he didn't just outright abuse her, they were doing something consensually and she was injured, the right thing to do is pay medical bills plus a little extra, that shouldn't require a lawyer. From the sound of it, Randy was willing to pay the girl money to take care of it, but not to the tune of a freaking half million dollars.

I think he contemplated paying because he knew the shit storm she was about to stir up.

Thank you for that mental image...

Perhaps a little handcuff play got out of control?

Hot wax a little too hot?

The best one was the guy in high school Moss and his bully friend beat up that lost a kidney over it that waited years to sue moss and the statute of limitations had just run out.

Sometimes you win when you are guilty and should lose a court case and sometimes you lose when you aren't guilty. When you have as many run ins as Moss has had,it's like passing a loss off as a bad beat in poker where it just goes with the turf.

I've also told my BF to slap my ass and ended up with a welt. Again, not abuse.

If this woman was a friend, she wouldn't be trying to get money out of him.

If she was abused, she'd be filing criminal charges.

If he didn't do this, I feel really sorry for him. Getting screwed over by someone who has been a friend for over a decade has to hurt.

                                    Here's the Bitch

Apparently, she needs cash to pay her rent. Go figure!

Three separate landlords have attempted to kick Rachelle Washington, 35, to the curb over non-payment of rent - as recently as last month, according to sources and Broward County court records obtained by the Herald.

The woman from whom Washington rents her current condominium in Fort Lauderdale, where she claims Moss, 30, injured her physically and mentally with “reckless and degrading conduct” on Jan. 6, last month served her a three-day notice to pay up or get out, sources told the Herald, but Washington came up with the money in time to remain a tenant.
In December 2002, an exasperated Giovanna Pipia, owner of the Town View Apartments in Hollywood, initiated formal tenant eviction proceedings against Washington, whom she claimed was in arrears for $990 on her $190-per-week rent and utilities.

“I have been as understanding as humanly possible, but I have my own commitments and responsibilities regarding running my apartment complex,” Pipia wrote Broward County Judge Sharon L. Zeller in a Sept. 11, 2002, letter.

“I cannot pay bills and mortgages on just words and promises,” Pipia wrote. “I am only asking that she pays what is due in order to remain at Town View Apartments.”

At the time, Washington had applied for and received financial aid from the county to help her with a portion of her rent, according to information in court records.

Hoping to stay her eviction, Washington wrote the court saying she had begun work at a boutique and had asked her sister to move in to help defray expenses.

In June 2005 Felicia Albu, manager of the Monroe Apartments in Hollywood, served Washington a tenant eviction notice, complaining in court records that Washington was delinquent for a little more than $700 back rent.

Both cases were ultimately dismissed for lack of prosecution.
