Doesn't make sense? Just seems like they are losing out on money there. Why not offer as many options as possible?

Instead of offering 2 "alternate lines" on each game, they could use one of them for the total.

Matchbook makes some funny decisions on their offerings. I still don't understand why they don't have NHL pucklines.

Don't get me wrong, matchbook is one of the top 3 books in the world IMHO. It doesn't get any safer and the action they do offer has the lowest prices in the business. I just don't understand why no ncaa totals.

My guess is that they have some moronic agreement with WSEX that WSEX is obligated to seed the markets with some money. So, if WSEX does not have a line for a certain event you are not going to see a market at Matchbook either. That is just a speculation on my end though.

Nah, WSEX offers college basketball totals, so that cant be the case. WSEX even offers 1st and 2nd half CBB totals.

You're right. It doesn't cost them a dime to do it.

Whoever is in charge of economics down there in that 3rd world country is a moron.

The main reason is lack of market makers. I once suggested halves or quarters (forgot which), and they said they'd put them up if I was willing to be the market maker. They're also not interested in bets that don't draw a lot of action. I guess that's because they want to build a reputation based on liquidity.

I understand the liquidity issue. But a lot of what they offer in CBB are alternate lines. Some games have 2 alternate lines that are .5 to a point off the main offering. I just think they could take both of those off and offer a total and a moneyline and get more action.
