Anyone getting a virus on this forum?

I have been following this forum closely for about a week. Sat night I was on the forum and I got a virus somehow into my system. ( I do have Norton Antivirus). I scanned my system completely 2 times never found it. I had to go through my files one by one to find it. SInce that day I have had two more intruder threats and another virus try to get into my computer which my antivirus stopped. I only ask about this forum because I have never had any problems in the last year until I started surfing this forum. Any info would be nice.

We have our systems routinely scanned and actively protected by antivirus and security updates. You can rest assured that none of our sites within our network contain viruses, or any sort of malware. Read deeper into the thread, which I probably should have 1st, and confirmed what I'd seen about the races not closing right - an entire day's racing still appears available for a track at all times. SBR spreadsheet with Firefox and Chrome shows an extra "push" button, making every row/record double height.

Sorry it took awhile but this has been fixed now could you please try it again and see if the button is still there?

Let me ask you this: if I set the book order for SBR odds, shouldn't every sport and every tab have the same book order?

The book order is different for each league. However, there is an option to copy the settings from a different league so you don't have to manually configure each league, you just have to make sure to copy the settings to all the leagues you're interested in.

Those symptoms have been reported by many people that SBR doesn't seem to care to have around. I experience all the ones you listed and a few more. If they show any interest in responding to you about it, it'll definitely be a departure from their usual behavior.

It would appear that is the case. I guess it's not a coincidence that the problems started shortly after I called SBR out (at peeps) about hiding a thread they didn't like by merging it with another.

I've had a few solid jabs at SBRJohn's incompetence over the past couple of months, but it looks like I struck a nerve by suggesting they are letting ghosts (operated by mods) play in the poker tourney, along with mods themselves. Hell, it was blatantly obvious all the ghosts and shills were attacking the guy that made the thread. All the OP said was "SBR employees playing in PRO's tourny, not Kosher". I made a thread at peeps about them trying to soft-censor by merging the thread into another. SBRJohn was quick to dismiss the notion of ghosts playing in the tourney. Funny, since I didn't say anything about that at peeps, only that they were censoring and attacking the guy that made the thread. So SBRJ's quick denial and the fact they felt the need to hide the thread, doesn't exactly scream innocence. SBRJohn even admits that "Every player is a SBR verified Pro or employee". I thought it was common knowledge that the ghosts were employees. Then Raiders (who is probably a couple of ghosts here) tries to turn the peeps thread into an advert for the PRO loyalty program. what a tardo

It sounds like you're seeing the usernames of programmers & developers that have participated to identify bugs during the BETA stage. To suggest or in some way believe moderators are creating ghost accounts for poker to pocket loyalty points from forum members is ridiculous.

After SBR Poker passes its test stages, you will likely only see a few forum moderators that you're already familiar with participating; and like in tonights $500 Poker Freeroll, there will be bounties on their heads to add even more rewards for posters.

Thats cool Lou, not that I really care. I actually made the comment in jest about the posters in the (now missing) thread that always seem to be riding SBR's cock whenever given the chance. Now are these posters ghosts or paid shills? I don't know, and again, don't care. But is it so ridiculous to think so? Giving the reactions (hiding the thread, quick denial, changing my server priority), it surely looks like one of a guilty party anyway.

So can you confirm that that is why my search function is disabled and the website is slow only when I'm signed in to my account?

I've observed cases where someone quotes a post and edits it to cause the quotee to "say" something he didn't say. Often it's harmless and funny and obvious. But at times it puts words into the mouth of a poster causing him to be viewed as stupid/malicious/racist, etc .... anything the editor wants. In long threads, one often doesn't scroll back to view the entire thread.

Other than editing long posts by deleting part of it in order to zero in on the part one is commenting on , editing to change the meaning shouldn't be allowed.

not sure if its been stated or not, but sometimes when i click on random users posts under their name and go to page 2, it says something to the nature of "sorry shit dick nothing exists". not exact words but i can't remember right off hand what it says but it doesn't show anything.

Looks like the points are not added correctly, or some transactions are unreported on the search points function. I have +45 points on all my forum history, but 0 points currently. I cannot think a reason for such discrepancy, it must be a bug.

I've already given the details in this thread twice now and no one has addressed them. I'm not sending an email just so it can get ignored also. After I run "Calculate Kelly", when I modify the Stake size in the "text area" and click on "Calculate Expectations" it does not account for the change in the bet size. The only thing that updates is the "Total stakes..." line.

Is there something wrong with the calculator, why are the "Expected Profit", "Expected Growth", "Expected Bankroll", and "Median Bankroll" amounts not updating???
