Even 12years ago before I got into online betting I would have thought I would have been crazy saying that I like baseball the most out of all sports.I find it the best sport to bet on for winning parlay longshots. There isn't much difference on any given day between the lowly Royals and high and mighty Red Sox.
With football, hockey and basketball evolution has caught up where guys are so much bigger and faster and it has caused all these sports to be imperfect.By that I mean there are too many physical scurmishes where there are no moves, stickhandling in open ice etc.It would be like being in bed with a woman with a room full of guys that are ready to hit you, throw a ball at you etc.Pretty hard to complete the deed that way.hehe!Or it's like that Adam Sandler movie where he's an ex NHL player that gets into pro golf where he throws body checks to guys putting in tournaments. The refs can call fouls and penalties on just about any play and most of the open court slam dunks in basketball are scored all on travels by the player.
So in baseball you have this perfect game where you have more skill involved where no one is slamming into a player trying to make a play. The guy making the play has his full witts about him where he knows he won't get nailed causing him to get psyched out and flub the play. The only barrier from baseball becoming the absolute perfect sport is umpires making bad calls. In this day and age of electronics, there is no longer a need for umpires. They should have 2 guys in a box above the stadium with a few t.v.monitors with up to date technology, sensors on all the bases, foul posts, gloves, strike zones etc.you name it.Then just have one ump on the field with radio contact with the guys in the booth.I think it's absolutely stupid not to use the technology available to do away with bad calls in sports.
Just think if tennis would have had simple line sensers put in place when Mac Enroe used to throw fits about line judges making bad calls. We would not have had to suffer through years of seeing a guy make a spoiled crying baby ass orifice out of himself.
In horse racing you don't have a steward standing at the finish line determining who won a race with snap judgement or calling for a enquiry from seeing a possible foul take place half a mile away.
