Do You Think Huckabee is Ron Paul "Light?"
Take a look at this site on "the Huckster," from an antiwar libertarian and Paul supporter. The author rightly says that "the rise of the Huckster in the polls is a barometer of the absolute bankruptcy of the Republican establishment intellectually and politically - and the utter emptiness of conservative doctrine, when the neocons got through with it."

The word-bite coming out of Mike Huckabee's Foreign Affairs manifesto is "arrogant bunker mentality," this in reference to the Bush administration, a mindset which, the new Republican front-runner avers, "has been counterproductive at home and abroad." Mitt Romney is demanding an apology from Huckabee to the president, but this grasping…

And for those to whom the lifting of UIGEA is a prime issue, do you seriously think a Christian pastor who garners his hardcore support from the religious fundamentalists - just as Bush did - is going to look benignly upon legal offshore betting - well, hallelujah, gents, that just ain't gonna happen.

If you think Huckabee is anything like RP, you are a complete idiot.

Huckabee is not only the favorite to win the Republican nomination now, but I wouldn't be surprised if he beats the Dem nominee in the general election and wins the whole thing. Not saying if I'm for or against him, just stating the obvious...

I think Rudy just wants to poke her and once he got into office his limbs would be puppet-mastered.

Giuliani and Romney are (as of this posting) both good-sized favorites over Huckabee for the Repulican nomination at both Intrade and BetFair.

              I wonder if he's Harlan's dad?

That was Harlan Hucklebee and not Huckabee that played runningback for Michigan and Green Bay.My mistake.

I've been thinking of making a strong play on Huckabee for sometime now Ganch. Believe it or not my biggest concern isn't Huckabee not winning, it's tying up my money for six months with rampant inflation possible in early '08 (like it isn't happening pretty strong now even). Cheers...
