It sounds like BETJAM has done the "right thing" and deserves the respect and recognition of the public. The book took the players action, the player won and now the player will get paid. Seems like maybe there were some mistakes and slowdowns along the way, but the bottom line, the player is going to get paid. This is how an A or B book should behave. In addition, the manager of the sportsbook is on the SBR website making comments - you don't see WagerWeb doing any of this with the other dispute do you?

    Way to go BETJAM.........

I think more thanks should be handed out to SBR for getting involved and pressing this matter. That's where the majority of the props need to go, because things were sure looking bleak for this player before their involvement.

Of course BetJam will do the right thing once this comes up on SBR, that should tell you nothing more about their actual integrity, just that they are doing the right thing when people are watching. Any sensible manager would come on here, be engaging, and make potential customers feel safe. Well, unless that person works for 5Dimes I suppose. But seriously, let's stay grounded and realize that if BetJam hit this dispute out of the park, it's in part because SBR delivered the ball.

SBR has a long term relationship with A+ books. With that comes a sense of trust. So I don't think SBR had a whole lot to do with BJ's decision. Probably a reminder that they are trusted to do the right thing would have been enough. Bottom line is that A+ books will take the high road. Perhaps in part because they know how hard it is to get such a rating. For the same reason lesser books are the ones who take justice into their own hands. To them a short term profit (from cheating players) outweighs the longterm edge of a high rating. In that regard, be alarmed when you see a B book NOT trying its utmost to reach a A rating. The fact that a book like Wagerweb is still debating their decision in the other dispute has already marked them, at least in my book, as not interested in a A rating. In this day and age steer clear from books with shadowy intentions.

A book like sportsbook.com has enough financial clout to ride out their crimes for a while, but they've written their own death sentence for the long run. Their reputation is beyond repair. I would add that anybody continuing to advertise for sportsbook.com is directly, not indirectly (!), responsible for that book stealing from players.

          Everything you state is inaccurate.

SBR rapidly ruled against the player and in favor of BetJam.

Unless you have secret and previously unposted info, SBR had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome.

I'm not saying SBR was vocal in supporting the player, or that they clearly maintained a position which favored the player and thus influenced Betjams decision to resolve this matter. I'm saying they were involved in this dispute.

This matter was made public on SBR, BetJam is a sponsor of SBR forum, so they had to come address this matter publicly as well as reexamine the details of this case internally. So sure, I think the player ought to be thankful for SBR being here. If they had not dicked him around to begin with, and been an A+ book from the start, none of this would have even came to the forums.

All Forum owners supported Bet Jamaica and not the player including mods, everyone was afraid of losing an 8/hr job.
