Can you judge a player or fighter's attitude and ability by facial features?
Twice this weekend it was astounding how much facial features of athletes played a part in predicting outcomes of extreme cage match fights and who played for Army or Navy football compared to other division one schools.

I wouldn't know the best extreme cage fighter from the worst but they had an hour show on satellite called best knockouts of 2007.They would show the 2 fighters in no winning or losing order on the screen and I think I picked the winner of every one of the fights just by their looks. You can tell in certain sports who is the baby faced submissive loser type.

As long as I'm on this subject, this would definitely be considered a racist statement by socialists like Hillary but on a weekend football show they were interviewing black kids on division one football schools and I knew the ones who played for Army or Navy. They had softer features, softer and more articulate speech patterns and they had no abrupt gestures and motions.

If I was as good at judging who I should pick in the Prick contest as I was judging athletes by looks,I would win every week.

Anyone know of any pro sports lookalikes?Mark Tauscher for the Packers looks just like that Jack Black the actor.Whos't he basketball player that looks like Ashton Kucher?

I have coached at various levels up through high school and I have personally found that trying to read players by their facial expressions to be very unrewarding.

There were times when I thought we were ready to play and we got killed. There were times when I thought there is no way in hell we're ready to play and we'd go out and blast somebody.

And everybody is different. My son could be screwing around, and often was, much to my chagrin, just two minutes before the game. But when the umpire said play ball, he'd cut your heart out to win.

I've had other kids, excellent players who very laid back - silent killer types.

I think every kid is different. And it's probably different in different sports.

    Just my .02 cents.

Known baby face losers that have rag arms to boot.

      Rex Grossman

      Chad Pennington

Todd ''I never ate a Bic Mac or Twinkie in my life''Marinovich

Just looking at how non intimidating these guys are makes the other team have nothing to fear where they tee off against them.

I think my point was,if a guy looks dainty or nerdy, usually he's not Miami University football material. The Geico cavemen would probably play for Minami U.

There are certain facial looks that are associated with brain capacity and docile personalities.Remember at Indiana where all of Bobby Knight's black and white players looked like milqtoast uncle tom homecoming kings from rural non inner city high schools? If Knight would have had Miami University football material on his team they would have beat the shit out of Knight and would not have taken his shit like the other kids did that played for knight.Same goes for Notre Dame,Boston College and Ivy league players where they look so whimpily not bred for physical contact that they will file a lawsuit if they get hit too hard.

I remember playing jr.high football and the powerhouse team in the conference had 13 year old kids with beards and 5 o'clock shadows. It scared the living hell out of our quarterback where he envisioned Ben Davidson,Lyle Alzado and John Matuszak on the line. The game was over before it even began with the intimidation factor.
