    Intertops requests passport number
I sent my passport to Intertops but they wouldn't accept it because I blocked my passport number. I never had a book ask for my passport number. Is it safe to give this number?

Why bother with Intertops? There are better books out there that aren't so intrusive.

I have played with Intertops for years and I didn't even have a passport until a few months ago.

I have no idea if it's safe to let them see it. As I say though, judging by my case, it is unnecessary.

i would never give out that information. i've had an intertops account for years and they never asked for that.
if this is true, these books are getting ridiculous with the crap they are asking for. NEVER give social security numbers or passport numbers to books

I know Intertops sometimes do have random security checks of their players identity, however I think asking you for your passport is a little to personal IMO.

I think what probably happened is that they asked for an ID. The player by his choice sent a passport ID. Its a pretty safe choice of ID's to send btw. So send a good copy of that ID or a another one. Thats the deal these days.

It is unusual for someone to send a passport for ID.

You could also send your license.

Intertops is a reputable book and is not going to do anything with your passport number.

Not much. But if you parlay an ID and a credit card number then it could be a problem but really the risk is extremely low.

Why does intertops needs my driver license or passport to get money out? is this a legit website or a scam? I tested them out before putting in real money, but it seems they are giving a very hard time to get the money out. Why can't intertops.com just sent a check or wire money to my bank account like all other legitimate websites do? For security purposes they must ask for this info before taking a deposit not when you pay it back.
Just wire the money or sent me a check, how hard is it?
Also, did anyone read the credit card agreement? it ridicules. They basically say, anyone can deposit money into your account from your credit card and intertops will not be responsible.

Can someone help me get my winnings out?
