Ganch just got a stiffy because you mentioned excel. He doesn't need viagra. His wife just discusses algorithm's with him and he's ready.

        Retirement plan perhaps?

Nothing wrong with planning for the future.

Not sure how Ganch might feel about this, but live and let live i say.

Using Excel for serious mathematics is a bit like using an Etch-a-Sketch for architectural drafting.

We use some advanced scripts written in Fortran but thinking of converting to a more user friendly system like excel or math modules written in Perl Scripts.

You should just build a difference engine based on clockwork and ball bearings.

Nevermind, I'm too afraid to ask! On the "upside" perhaps we can look forward to a new Ganch calculator, a peter meter with 1/2 inch values and probabilites.
