Coug's like they say there is no accounting for personal taste, I personally think this is your best rendition thus far. I'm sure you are partial to your original material and I can understand that completely but your vocal range is perfectly matched with this song and style. It also helps enormously that for the first time the vocals are in proportion to the music. generally the music is so much louder it's difficult to hear the lyrics.

I admit I am not the best opinioned person when it comes to music. I am not overly genre specific, I know what sounds good and this fits both your range and style of delivery.

I told Muddy today that he was on my envy list with his talent because that was his thread but there is no doubt you are on that list as well with your talent. You don't have to be a music fan to show some suppot or appreciation for someone who puts themself out there. Even if they have been over exposed to the many talents of Coug's to the point of being de-sensatized it's still just good manners to acknowledge one contributions.

Even JJ sometimes (there has had to be at least one) lays an egg but we still acknowledge his efforts.
