Spacing is the main thing. Vertical spacing (Claxton/ Drummond etc) or perimeter spacing. Griffin is neither. If he were at the 4 he's either be clogging the paint or he'd be trying to space the floor -Celtics would have been giving him 3PA in abundance.

Let the Celtics shoot, stop guarding the perimeter. Clog the paint. If they get hot, put in a Bruce Brown.

You have one of the best offensive creators in the history of the game with Irving and Durant. Instead of chucking up 3s, Griffin needs to screen on pick and rolls and go to the offensive boards. Getting KD open was more important than spacing the floor. And for Drummond, I couldn't believe how great the chemistry was between KD and Drummond, but he gets taken out.

I am thinking of putting ca$h on the Celtics next game or the Dubs. I gotta make up my mind. We have the Celtics who stunk more than flatulence in a room full of fat widows-I can't imagine a team being more flat. But I have a problem with the Celtics being unable to defend Yannis. not fully in on the zig-zag theory but if there's a zag this would be the game. And I hate the Celtics, but ca$h doesn't care. As for Middleton, trust me he's a huge part of the team. But they haven't had a tough game since he left. Cherry Bulls, and the Cherry just-off-the-Nets Celtics. I have to think the Celtics finally realized what playing a basketball team is again.

About clogging the paint-the Celtics were running at Durant with 2 guys all series. The only way you beat that is in the paint. If you're 4 on 3 or 3 on 2 inside the paint, you can't defend that. Even if one guy misses the other likely gets the offensive rebound for a cherry. You don't want to clog the perimeter with guards, when you have KD who owns the perimeter and needs his spacing, and Irving who can drive from the perimeter to the hole. Just screen and get the d amn rebounds.

Nash said he put guards out there to ensure spacing. How the h ell did that work out. When you're a shooting guard and you got 3 other guards on the floor, where are you supposed to go. Because you're not driving for layups, and nobody is there to pass to for layups

I think it will be pretty close. But I think people will Phx's exit as the West being broken up.

Look at it like this. If Boston is close to 60% to beat Heat...Boston probably 60% to beat Western foe. I really think Boston will show as +180 to +200 to emerge from the Final 4.

I agree on Thompson. He isn't the same guy. The thing is they have all the better players everywhere else. Plus that flukey home court where balls go in in the fourth when they are losing.
