    Do cops pursue gambling chargebacks?

    just curious

    I know in the old days, the sportsbooks couldn't do anything because it wasn't even legal. Now that it is legal, have you guys heard of any stories of anybody being pursued if they lost a lot of money?

    If it’s a USA book I’m sure somewhere in the fine print when you signed up you agreed not to do that under the punishment of legal action

    Cops? Maybe if the book goes to small court and file a claim you may be summoned to the court but there is no cop police knocking on people's doors to collect gambling debts.

    aren't they much more likely to pursue the civil case? even if it's a huge amount?

    I bet it's a lot tougher to get your bank to agree to a ********** against Draftkings than an offshore book.

    And your bank will probably block further gambling use on that card if they do agree.
