Wow, great blast from the past. I remember calling a number on the back of my schedule. It would be a recording that would update every 15 min or so. It would start out, "Thanks for calling the Scoreboard Los Angeles America's best free score phone" Then all the touts would come with their recordings, lol. Fun times.

Ha, I did that as well! It was the only way to find out lines back in the day. Tout commercials were comical - guys would plead and beg you to call them. Jeff Allen was one and he's still around!
