Road don’t mean much with no fans that being said I don’t wanna see the back up qb he’s mobile and he could be a problem for us I feel more comfortable with goff this is a backup who could possibly be thrown into a game that could raise his stock 10 fold most people either rise up and have a career game or they crumble to me the back up scares me

it's not just fans that give HFA. it's weather, it's sleeping/being in your own home or apt and familiar surroundings during game week and not having to take a flight, stay in a hotel, etc.

if you had to take an exam, would you rather do it in the comfort of your own home or would you rather be dropped into a stranger's study room in a totally different home?

there are psychological factors at play here, not just the crowd angle.

It's going the other way because the line opened wrong. Two weeks ago when they played it opened at -2. It has nothing to do with sharps. They opened at -5 because of the back up QB.
