How much money would you say you guys have lost overall due to gambling? Just curious to know. I probably have lost about 5k in total.

i am 100% afraid to know the number. i lost a lot in online casinos in the past killing winnings and then chasing at times. Learned my lesson the last 5 years or so.

with OT can pull in 100k then add moneymart and the likes to the mix gotta steal from peter to pay paul. Its cyclical and never get out till i sell the house then there will be nothing left and wont be able to borrow again That will be a good day. Closed all accounts except Pinny and no casino.

There was a time about 4-5 years ago I was down 32k with 5d. Just had them run a report a few weeks ago, and up 17k lifetime. Have made a good run. The key is not to chase. When things are turning sideways, you either decrease your wager or step away for a minute altogether. Chasing gets you in trouble almost every time

I know I’m not down. But I know I’m not up as much as I would think. I easily cleared 100k last year but I know for a fact I did not deposit that much so I’m thinking up 50-60 last year that alone puts me ahead. I ran 5k into 67k in 3 weeks or so.
Took a pounding this weekend but up 9k or so today. Just grinding out.

What makes you want to continue gambling if you have lost so much?

honestly cause I enjoy sports betting. its the online casinos that have beaten me. if i do not play in the casinos i do decent and make some money and it makes me more interested in the games at the same time.

every book i am now a member of i had to have them block the casino for me. not proud of it but being honest.

funny thing is when i am in an actual casino i can limit my play fine. it is when it is online and it doesn't feel like its real money cause it is not in my hand that i go wild.

I honestly don’t want to know lol. I’ve had a run where I’ve won 500k and days where I’ve lost 30k. Best thing that happened to me was when online poker became a lillegal and my pokerstars acct was retired . Those wild Wild West days were too time consuming and stressful. Can play the hands perfectly and still lose. That’s poker though. Even the best go through cold streaks and go bust at times and make a shitload in the moment and live like kings . Rinse and repeat. Was fun in my early 20s
