The EGO Bowl between Saban and Harbaugh. Saban really wants this game. He could never live down losing to Harbaugh, who has never defeated Urban Meyer. Harbaugh just wants to get a win against any decent team. A tough game to follow, but since it is a New Years Day game, and since Sammy (who could not pick a winner to save his life) picked Michigan, Alabama is the play. You can get 'Bama -6 1/2 at Circa and Westgate Shops in Vegas now.

this is Bama's 1st time not being in it

historically Ala does not play well in a bowl when it is meaningless

The total seems awful low no? Neither defense very good and both now run modern offenses that score points. 58 very doable imo.

The last 3 times Bama wasn't playing for a championship in a bowl it was a 9-3 team with Julio Jones and Heisman 🏆 winner blowout win against Michigan st and double digits losses to Utah and Oklahoma. They are all or nothing

Don't know about this game but so far, only 4 are reportedly definitely gone after this year: Wills, Jeudy, Harris, and Lewis. 50/50 on McKinney returning. And the others are leaning more likely to return for their senior year.
