Real nice to see three future Hall of Fame QB’s all have monster games on the same Sunday.
Matt Ryan became the second fastest QB ever to reach 50,000 yards passing as his Falcons rolled to a 40-20 win. Drew Brees was the quickest.
Matty Ice was 20-34 313 passing yards with 2 TD’s
This was Ryan’s 3rd game in his last 4 to throw for over 300 yards.
Speaking of Drew Brees even though his Saints lost 48-46 Brees has a monster game accounting for six touchdowns (five via the air) while going 29 for 40 passing for 349 yards.
Phillip Rivers in three quarters, sat out the fourth in a LAC 45-10 road romp over the Jags.
Rivers went 16 for 22 needing only 16 completions to accumulate 314 yards and three TD’s.
Well done!
Oh, the fourth fossil?
The fourth fossil Eli Manning starts tomorrow night and even though a lifelong Giants fan but never a real big Eli fan I’ll be rooting for him real hard Monday night to go out in a blaze of glory.
