Texans+4.5 at the Ravens. Seems a little jacked up

I'm sure Watson wants to show he is the man not Jackson. Line is obviously inflated by a point on recency bias. Houston also off the bye.

Houston has no pass rush with att out and Ravens offensive line is one of the best in the NFL, Ravens are also healthy with Smith back and the trade for Peter's really helped them, I'd need at least 6.5 to even consider Houston.

I don't like Philly. They might cover but they ain't winning.

Chargers probably hang because kc can't stop a nosebleed.

The Texans are the #3 rush defense for a reason. They go up against Deshawn every day in practice. They struggle against QBs that can sit in the pocket and sling the ball. Can Jackson make the passes? The Ravens have the better defense and at home but a toss up to me. Who plays better at QB will decide it. Im leaning Texans.

Do we like Houston off a bye tho? I dunno their numbers but I tend to like bye for good coaches, not scrubs.

My concern would be ravens secondary has all a sudden become one of the best in the league imo. Smith finally healthy and addition of peters makes their back end very formidable. Houston does have a strong run defense so I might be on Lamar’s arm in this one.

because the year before that it was set up for him to go into arrowhead and he made that defense look like the 2000 ravens. still mad about it. lost like $1200 on it. he disgusts me.

Ravens running game is far different than a standard one, I wouldn't use traditional stats of run defense.

No question. That said obviously you not gonna consider a poor rushing defense vs them correct?

whether it is 4.5 or 6.5 it will not likely make any difference

field goals are a thing of the past

    7 is the key number

anything under a TD I think you gotta roll with the Ravens

Houston’s defense is piss poor now that they don’t have Clowney or JJ Watt

Yeah agree, teams with a bad rush defense aren't stopping the Ravens, but I think it takes more than a traditional run defense to stop ravens, you need the right coaching and personnel like Chargers had in the playoffs. Houston run defense without Watt is different too.

It seems like team like the Patriots seeing Jackson the first time aren't having any success.

Yea I loved ravens in that game but kinda unfortunate for them pats got a look at it before the playoffs. Gotta expect hoody and co be much more prepared now that they have seen it up close. The only equalizer would be if ravens can come up with a completely different game plan in playoffs. Which they might.

What makes me super high on ravens now is I think their defense which was a absolute weakness beginning of year now has one of the best secondaries in the league. Hopefully that gives them the opportunities to be creative in ways to generate pressure since they don’t have any great individual pass rushers.

run defense will suffer a little in this one. Peko and Ellis 1st game with Ravens..texans take advantage with run game...

Ravens also don't have a pass rush, it is really really bad, probably worse than Houston's

Ravens secondary is improved but how good is it? They get their first real test going against Hopkins and looking like Fuller will be back too

The total interests me a little bit, leaning towards over 49 but that is still a high number

I think their secondary is potentially really good. 2 very good corners, when smith healthy and when peters wants to play. Very good safeties and pretty good slot guy too., I would think that secondary would allow them to get creative with pressuring packages cause you right they not getting home rushing 4.,

Through Week 10, the Texans’ first-quarter point differential of minus-25 ranks 28th and is the worst of any team with a winning record. The Ravens, on the other hand, have the second-best first-quarter point differential at plus-61.

Texans have stunk but there has been a 14 point swing at least due to missed pass interference calls today in favor of the Ravens.

Texans went to London looking like a playoff team and came back looking like the Bengals. This is the worse they looked all season.

If Deshaun Watson re-enters this game now, especially with a Thursday night game upcoming, would be coaching malpractice.
