    of been very interesting to see the final
    two rounds Diaz usually does very well
    in the final 2..

    Who has Diaz ever finished in the 4th or 5th rounds? He was already down 30-26. The best thing that could have happened to him was the doctor stopping it.

    You could’ve gotten Diaz at +167 a few weeks ago. That was the best odds I remember seeing him. Jorge was around -180 then.

    Masvidal was up to -220 to -225 at one point, then by fight night it was down to -150ish. I bet -170 right before it started.

    Diaz has never stopped someone in rd 4 or 5, but that doesn't mean he couldn't. Jorge looked to be slowing to me, so anything could have happened.

    The rematch will be coming early next year. How can you not take Mas again! Diaz is tough as nails but with all the scar tissue he had, and now the additional from all these cuts, he's too risky to take. Mas lands a couple elbows & kicks to the face and the next one could easily be stopped as well.

    I disagree with Masvidal was starting to slow down. He fought at a crisp pace. He already knew Nate was gonna be a tough out and this being a 5 rounder, Masvidal still dominated each of the 3 rounds and fought at his own tempo without emptying his gas tank. He had plenty of reserves if they went into the 4th and 5th round. It was gonna get worst for Diaz and we most likely seen would have seen a stoppage in the 5th.
