Ok so I make other bets aside from the ones in this thread but for the sake of transparency moving forward... unless stated bets are always risking 1 unit or to win 1 unit and my units are $50.

I'm a total Colombian homer but I think Colombia is going to come out strong. I'm liking the over 2.5 in the Arg/Col game. And if Colombia score 1 or even 2 in that game, my over 4.5 bet looks really good. I think this team can score in bunches. Cuadrado is getting more of a spine and isn't playing so light-footed anymore. That's dangerous. This team -for decades- needed to feel pride. Colombian teams have always had talent but lately, they have a swagger.

Duvan Zapata is clearly not used to the South American climate. But as he gets used to it in Brazil and he gets less gassed, he'll shine. Falcao wants to redeem himself for a pretty poor season at Monaco.

Think Venezuela gets the second spot in Group A. Peru looked...lost, frustrated...It was a "dress rehearsal" game and I didn't like what I saw, at all.

Again, this is just for fun. I'm not telling anyone to tail me. Good luck everyone.

not sure yet Franz. I'm a very contrarian bettor, and I like to determine what the public thinks and go against the grain. As of now I think the public Sees goals in that match and I'll likely go under. Maybe a little bit on Uruguay moneyline

I think uruguays style doesn't play well to -1, high possibility of pushing. I think the common bettor sees the stars on uruguay and thinks goals... But uruguay has always believed in possession, its just in their nature. Possession football and look for spots for cavani to move forward. Stuani poaching.

Really not sure yet. Maybe I change my mind tomorrow and go square with uruguay ML.

Again, I'm staying away from any strong opinion in the first round about sides. Anything can happen and I want to get a good look at what the teams look like....

BUT I think Peru's going to struggle with Venezuela's attack. They've looked frustrated in recent games.
