Bitcoin does have a storied history and there are many who have financial interests to keep the cycle relevant. However once its started trading on US markets it was doomed.. the chance for large entities -banks large corps to short the market with such short leverage put it into free fall.. the key question is always how a commodity reacts when its allowed to trade on the free marketplace and as predicted by many the two way action with much larger short positions kept it muted. along with continued security hacks and loss of public interest and large institutions continuing to short the market will only lead to further price issues.

Every day I see new theories by new people about what's going to happen. Frankly, I don't think anyone really has much clue, seems like a total guess.

Of course if you guess it goes up or down, basically 50/50 chance of being correct so plenty of these geniuses do that and then proclaim themselves to know what's going on - of course they don't mention the times they were wrong!

So I personally am just sitting back and waiting to see what happens without stressing over it - obviously can't control it anyway and no need to let your hair turn gray by worrying about it.

Exchanges getting hacked, people not caring about their private keys getting hacked. Whoever has their coins sitting on any exchanges basically lets a third party decide over the money. Its not even better than keeping your funds in the bank. Rule number 1 - if you dont want to take control of your money others will...

And on a sidenote, cryptocurrencies wont die...we will see new all time highs, wie will have an even bigger bull run in the future. people are just getting to emotional by the crash since december. In fact the economy is moving forward every day if you watch it carefully and just dont look at the prices only. Im buying in on those nice discounts...
