How Do I Get Rid of Old Drop Down Acct #s at a Book?
I've been online for almost ten years, this is kinda embarrassing that I don't know this.

At a few of the books I currently have, if I mouse over or click the blank for account number, a fairly long list drops down, showing a bunch of acct numbers. Including some for books I haven't used in years.

How do I delete the old ones? I tried highlighting and delete, but that doesn't work.

In IE, go to Tools > Options > Content > Auto Complete > Clear Forms.

In Firefox, go to Tools > Clear Private Data > Saved Form and Search History > Clear Private Data Now

Thanks, but deleting coookies and offlline content didn't do it. I generally clear the cache once a month or so

It's the form data you want to delete, not cookies or cache.

Yeah, it did. Thanks. And sorry it took me so long to get back, it was due to strange doings at one particular site

              Namely, this one.

When you erase those it seems that you delete them all. Well, no prob. Type them in once and they're stored again in memory.

But I lost the paper with the passwords, and couldnt quite recall this one. So, as instructed I gave the email address that i was sure I'd used upon registraton.

Nope, the SBR site said it wasn't right. So I tried with the only other web based email address I had. Again, rejected by SBR. I never use my POP 3 address for this stuff, so it had to be one of the 2 web-based.

I did get in one time, using the number assigend. Once. But not the second or third time. Same old message about wrong email addy.

Finally, I found the paper with the pw and got in.

I note other posts detailing probs with the SBR website.

Maybe SBR needs to find an A+ rated webmaster.
