I made only a few small bets and lost, once I get some money I will be back strong.

#6haha.
i'm streaky. a month ago i had about 50k in cash laying around from winnings. i was the man. i've lost it all since. overall in the past 8 years i am probably close to even, but in reality it's really a big loss, considering the amount of money i've blown after big wins. gambling isn't doing it for me anymore, i become angry and frustrated too easily, and my money mangagement discipline which was once GREAT is now horrible, because i am chasing that rush...a gambler that chases the rush is nothing but a loser in the end, like 99% of them...a few years ago i quit for about a year, then came back.....i'm going to do some serious thinking this week and i may be retiring.Comment -

#8all's this really is for 99% of people is a way to get high. i'm not a drug user or into alcohol, and i used to get high off of sports. i think i may get back into boxing to get that rush i need. nothing better than knocking someone to the floor, or better yet, getting knocked around and training to come back. in boxing i control my own desinty, in sports gambling i am victim to human error and mainly chance. i truly believe unless you can utilize many tools and have strong money mgt skills, you have no shot at taking a profit. most guys look at past history to handicap games, i dont believe in that. the past doens't dictate the future hardly ever, and when it does, it's solely because of probability...you can have a team that's 20-0 against the spread in certain conditions, then they can go 0-20 for the next 20 games...Comment -

#10plus, watching jjgold's posts about peddling and messing up life due to gambling gets me thinking...as jj says, this is what could happen...i'm not sure if he's kidding or not, but either way he's making a good point.Comment -

#11people can bash me or whatver...it's all good. if they looked at my picks yesterday they'd see i won all but the yankees and a small play on cards' run line.
