Just had things clarified, they are looking to legitimise their business model, hence lots of bonus's etc etc etc for non-Americans , I expect they will go the way of Pinnacle soon enough.

i highly doubt that because pinny has shitload of events to choose from. they have more soccer games posted than most of the sportsbooks...they also have asian handicap for soccer, which i really like.

matchbook only has few events...most of them US sports. if they stop let us people betting there, their volumn will drop at least 90% because their soccer selection is laughable. that is pretty much business suicide if they ever decided to exit us market. not that many people use matchbook for none us sports.

I sent a link of this thread to a professional arbitrageur in England I have known for several years. Apparently he posted it at an industry forum over there for several European professionals to look at.

In his response, he indicated there was no corroboration and they concluded Jamie is "a wind up merchant." I'm not even sure what that means.

But they wouldn't know how pitiably fixated Jamie has shown himself to be with the United States so they wouldn't be taking the try-to-get-people-riled-up factor into account.

yes, no one thought pinny would go but pinny was diversified in term of betting options. matchbook is not. mb is pretty much all US sports, so it is like NFL banning US television from broadcasting it and only give broadcasting rights to non-US networks.

Pinny was thin on 1x2 football as I recall, as soon as it changed then 1x2 was the norm, same coming for MB, carefull as you go with deposits lads.

i don't really like 1x2 type of betting. i love pinny because they are really good at asian handicap. that is why i have them instead of other books. most of their soccer games are still asian handicaps, only few big events are 1x2...like chelsea vs liverpool etc. if you do the multi-way calculator the 3 way lines has much higher vig than asian handicap lines. so i don't see the point of betting 1x2 style at all...unless you're a hardcore fan and always want to bet for a team to win.

MB has fewer soccer games listed than the greek, and those events has virtually no volumn at all. besides even if MB decide to drop USA market, your money is safe there. pretty much all USA bettors got their money back from pinny now.

If it turns out you guys actually knew better than all the North Americans, Europeans and people at Matchbook, then I will be the first to say, good reporting.

But there really should be some kind of sanction if there are no platinum accounts and the principles have weaseled away. I would suggest a suspension but unfortunately, at this site, attention-whoring is more likely to get you your own special sub-forum than banned.

There's a difference between attention-whoring and intentionally spreading mis-information about a book. I would hope that trying to convince Americans to not deposit at a site and claiming that orders are filled out-of-order for priority clients would be taken somewhat seriously by SBR staff if it all turned out to be fabricated.

thanks for the update. i stopped using matchbook long time ago...not worth my time to keep extra money in there just so i can bet on limited number of sports. plus any book that only accepts USD is a shitty book to me.
