Rae Carruth's disabled son, 17, will confront the NFL star for ordering the shooting that left him brain-damaged and his mother dead when the athlete is released from prison.
Chancellor has grown up with his grandmother Saundra Adams, who has raised him since the death of his mother.
Carruth wanted Cherica Adams to have an abortion when he found out she was pregnant with their child, but she refused.
Cherica was shot four times while eight months pregnant. All four bullets missed Chancellor but as Adams lost blood, the child sustained permanent brain damage.
Carruth was later found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, according to the New York Daily News.
Saundra, who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, said Carruth met Chancellor when he was a one-year-old during a supervised visit. She hopes to give him information about his son upon his release.
