Betonline Moves Juice and Line Prior to Approving Bets
Is everyone else at betonline (formerly bestline) having this problem?

I often try to make bets online and in baseball, right after I type my password and try to get the bet in it will come back at maybe 5 cents worse. In football I tried to bet the NYGiants at +3.5 and it moved to 3 THREE times! A minute later it would move back. Normally they will just move the line either 5 cents or half-a-point.

I called and get this bs that the line is moving a lot- I dont believe that for a second.

raiders72002: Does it always move against you?

Yes. It doesn't always move but when it does move it is ALWAYS against me. And it moves often. Sometimes I can escape with an MLB that does not move but these reduced juice NFL are moving a lot. I've probably tried to make 8 bets with them and lets say 6 of them moved.

As I said the odd case was the NYGiants that moved back after I did not confirm. Normally it seems to move and sit there at the new number. I've wanted to test it out and bet the other side to see if it would move again (thus trying to give me 1/2 a point the worst of it no matter which side I bet) but I haven't mustered the balls to try to put a decent wager on a pick I don't like.

have not had this problem one bit there getting down..but not betting really heavy.

I can tell that the linesman is pretty sharp....or tries to be anyways. young dude, I *think* - surprisingy opinionated in NFL I've noticed.

bottom line - these dudes could put me on a 5 minute delay ( which I have no doubt they will) and I'd still play there for the -105

That line move has happened to me also. Sometimes its even in my favor. I remember that use to happen alot around gametime when i was betting at Pinny. Like Aircoryell said as long as they have the reduced juice I am satisfied.

I don't play there but there have been many other books that will always change the line against you or put you on a nice delay.

The good books will change it both ways.

Canbet did that to me for a while during NBA season. I would see a game at -3 and then it would move to -3.5. Or my +2 would go to + 1.5. If it didn't move they would say my action was too big and to phone them. When I called the line would then be against me but I could bet as much as I wanted on the new line. I just withdrew and never went back. Now they are sending me e mails trying to get back my business.

It's not impossible that they're being underhanded, but I doubt it. They are very aggressive moving lines and you're probably betting steam, hence your trouble.

Ironic, this is the store I am so desperately trying to deposit in. (see hours in hell with money gram) maybe I stick with ugly BoDog.

They have a high rating, anybody else have bad comments about them. I am being pulled by the juice.

lot of interest in this book

they have the opportunity to do something big, I have a pretty good idea who is behinf this shop, and they're solid. Customer SVC is Ok, but there lacking on the smaller things.

Just reading the posts here in the last week, I think that 85% of the people bet less than $100 a game, in which case BOL is a must have out. For the larger player we'll see how it unfolds.

Not worried about a stiff here in the least, worse case scenario is they pull the -105 back to -108 if they get hurt to hard.

If they are smart they will let the sharps play with no bet delay or funny business moving lines. limit them to $500 at the worst. it's all about volume.

I think that's the problem. From the type of player the OP is, that's always going to be a problem.

nobody is beating the books to the steam these days, including betonline. the linesman(s) is on the the ball, which bodes well for the longevity of these guys. they move on air like everybody does as soon as the big boy(s) get hit, you got less than 15 seconds to beat them.
