This is from the bonus rules page:

"If a player wishes to make a withdrawal prior to completing his rollover, he may; however, he will sacrifice his entire bonus and any winnings earned from that bonus."

I've always been confused about "winnings earned from that bonus".

example: You deposit 500 and get 100 bonus. you win some, you lose some --- balance never goes below 100 and you never needed the last 100 to cover any bets. With balance at, say 1200, you decide to withdraw even though you did not meet rollover yet. Do you get the full 1100 (1200 - bonus) or will there be some cockamamie reasoning that some ( or all ) of your winnings were earned from the bonus?

Example 2: same as above but you lose at first and balance goes below 100 before you start winning and get to a balance of 1200. Again, you didn't yet meet rollover. May I assume in this case that you get 0 if you want to withdraw? I guess this seems fair because without the bonus you could not have made a comeback.

What I've seen some books do is this:

      Deposit $500
      Bonus $100
      Total Roll $600

1/6 of your total roll is bonus, therefore if you win $600 1/6 of that ($100) would have been won by the bonus. When you withdraw they take the $100 bonus plus $100 winnings from the bonus.

On a further note it is my understanding that if you didn't get the e mail your not able to take advantage of the bonus. I don't have a WSEX account so that info hasn't been verified by me.

I received a $10 (loyalty) bonus from bet365 that stipulated I must roll it 3X for it to become withdrawable, since my balance is about $500 at Bet365 I made a $40 wager that won and was notified that the rollover requirement was met with that wager and the funds are now available to be withdrawn.

It use to be a 5x's rollover, but 10x's is really not all that bad though for 20% nowadays considering the book who's offering it.

I've never had a problem betting up to $2500 with them. Been with them for at least 3 yrs now.

Ok, same scenerio as above, but what happens if you had a starting balance of $2196 before you deposited another $500 and got the $100 bonus? Would the sportsbook view the bonus as $100/$2796 (~3.5%) of your bankroll and dock your winnings in the same fashion?

thats actually a good way of doing it, but to be honest, I can't realistically see sportsbooks going through that type of trouble to make the calculation.

I'm fine with sportsbooks doing that, as long as they tell you beforehand, and their exact procedure for doing it is in their rules beforehand. It wouldnt fly if they only start making up their bonus removal rules when the time comes..

I could be wrong, but I don't remember the max being as high as $2,000 before. Last year I think it was $500.

Anyway this is great news, as I'm about to send a wire there.
