For the Cappers (posters who post their plays)..?
For the Cappers (posters who post their plays) including myself.

Do you still post your plays although you're having a little bad luck?

Personally, when I'm having a little bad luck I try too stay away for the only reason that if I change one posters mind and the play loses I would feel like a fool.

    Your thoughts/opinions would be appreciated.

I'm not superstitious regarding posting plays every week..I always post my plays every week, regardless of the previous results...

however, I do only post my picks here at SBR and at wagerline, one out of respect to SBR because it's my home site, and two out of superstitiousness...haha...if that makes any sense...

Howdy.:> I do better if I just keep my mouth shut and not expose myself to other's thoughts until after I've made my plays. My process doesn't change in handicapping, but for some reason something just slightly changes and I go from doing really well to doing really blah - that is, when I start posting. I had 3 winning football years in a row with well above 57% winning clips - then started posting pics/thoughts, etc LAST year and won about 35-40% of the time last year (still ended up as my most profitable season - but it was hard having so many losses - it took quite a toll on me ). I found that if I just shut up and didn't pay any mind to anyones picks until after the fact - I did well enough to make betting worthwhile. Weird, huh?

I will say that I rode a lot of pags11's plays last year and that probably saved disaster on my end hehe (at least win % wise).:> Gogo college foots (last year was my first year playing the college football and man is it a roller coaster every week)!

I should aslo note that I don't think I'll be posting a lot this season after a bad day after a 12 pack. Haha - I'm a dumbass, but boy - I'm a whole new grade of dumbass when lit. I drank way too much last season and let emotion get in the way of a lot of my thoughts.. Bad Bad Bad!

I don't mind posting my plays. I stopped posting my own stuff so much in baseball because that section of the forum was getting stupid for about a week or two with alot of posts. Now, I stick to adding my two cents to other's posts.

If I only posted when I was winning, I'd hardly post!

I post my investments every week whether I'm doing good or not. The process remains the same, and i've noticed that since I have applied a rigid set of rules for myself (since 2002), at the end of the year I have made money. The picks that other posters put up have no effect because I don't look at them until I have already made my pick for the week.
