Without question, the best sitcom of the '80s.
That NBC Thursday lineup was stacked (Cosby, Family Ties with Michael J. Fox, the original Night Court, and Hill Street Blues)

I love crime dramas, Hill Street Blues was a monster series.
Created by Steven Bocho, who created NYPD Blue with his sidekick David Milch later, are two all-time greats, and took Dennis Franz along with them. I loved Sipowicz.

Dick Wolf was writing the scripts (before he created the Law and Order franchise) is the GOAT of crime dramas.

Yeah, I grew up with Norm, and I loved him too.
What's not to love? 'Da Bears.

This!! Well I guess a lot of us from that era did feel like we knew him although never actually meeting him in person. Sign of a good sitcom.

Hard for me to digest it's been 32 years since the show went off the air.
