#4Are you guys still having issues with the live odds at www.sbrodds.com? It seems to be working okay on this end this morning but that's certainly no guarantee that it's working everywhere in the world.
As we continue to tighten up our programming in preparation for football season, your continued feedback is very much appreciated. Please let me know the specific nature of the problems (i.e. not seeing the page at all, offshore lines not loading, not seeing the headline/injury/matchup/preview feeds, etc.). Also, please advise as to the browser type and version number being used (i.e. FireFox, Internet Explorer, etc.). And, if a specific page on the site is problematic, please advise as to that URL and how you navigated to that page. Finally, are any problems you may be experiencing happening while you're logged in to customize settings, after you've logged out, or simply in the default mode (not/never logged in).
We have a few "known" issues at this time ... for instance, the Vegas Odds are currently being retooled to increase the refresh speed; some styling and formatting issues are being addressed ... we fully expect these to be corrected within the next day or two.
Thanks for the continued feedback ... we take all user input seriously as we strive to make this product work better for all of our visitors.Comment -

#7Which fonts are you finding too small ... the lines or all fonts in general? We've controlled the font sizes with style sheets to preserve the formatting necessary to display the line grids. However, Firefox users can adjust their font sizes up (Ctrl + "+") or down (Ctrl + "-"). Be advised that increasing the font size too much may make the lines unreadable. I'm curious as to anyone else's opinions on the font sizes ... to little, too big, just right? If we were to increase the font size on the lines grids, we'll need to display fewer books per page ... maybe 8 instead of 10. Opinions?
We will certainly look to provide customizable color options and sounds for the lines moves in the near future. Color changes are easy ... sounds are a bit trickier these days because of the increased differences in browsers and individual browser settings. Nonetheless, we'll continue trying to solve these problems in order to give our visitors the best experience possible.
Thanks for the feedback!Comment -

We're currently programming additional customizable features, one of which will allow users to choose between showing or hiding "red" (in progress) games. As we've received mixed feedback from users on this topic ... some prefer to see the red games, some think they clutter the lines screen too much ... we feel that this will be a necessary addition to users' settings.
Perhaps we need to consider adding an additional option regarding maintaining final games at the bottom of the lines grid.
Once again, thanks for the positive feedback!Comment -

#9it's still not loading for me with Firefox 2.0.0.6 ------ It did load with IntExplorer, which i hate to use. Are there any firefox settings I might change for it to load. however, it was fine until a few days ago. I tried it both logged in and not logged in.
It doesn't even get to the point where the book logos are seen. However, when I try another sport where there are no games, the logos show and it completes with the message "no info".
I clicked on your example for scoreboard and that was fine. From there I clicked on the live line link. same problem - not loading.Comment -

#11hmmm ...
hhsilver, I'm using exactly the same browser as you and it's working fine here. Let's try clearing your cookies and see if it works after that ... go to "Tools" > "Clear Private Data" > check "Cookies" > click "Clear Private Data Now" (be sure to uncheck any of the other boxes ... "Browsing History", "Saved Passwords", etc. if you don't want to clear those). This may simply be a one-time issue where you got a "bad cookie" during our recent updates. Please report back so we can continue to troubleshoot.
Scorpion, what browser and version are you on? If Firefox, you may want to try the same steps described above. Either way, keep me posted so that we can improve our service.
Thanks fellas!Comment -

#12Sean,
I cleared cookies. Still the same. Other sports are normal -- i get to "no info" and the logos get in.
baseball -- it doesn't even get the logos and the loading thing keeps turning. At the bottom left. I see the firefox indication of "done" - as the the loading thing continues to turn.Comment -

#16It's working now, Sean. Actually, I first got it to work by clicking reload after another unsuccessful try. I had never tried that before. I wondered if that would always have to be the case. But it was probably fixed between my first attempt and 'reload' because I left and tried later and it worked without 'reload'.
I have a question. I'm seeing a message from firefox about installing a plugin to display all media on the page. I didn't get this message in the past. Can you tell me what I will miss if I ignore the plugin. it all looks the same to me.
thanks for this great feature -- I missed it the last couple days
