    i've become sort of numb
i hit a mini losing streak a few days ago, but now as i'm winning, i'm not really feeling much. i'm up enough this week to buy a new jeep, and i'm sort of numb to it. tonight i have a ton of action on the late game, and i'm not even looking forward to it, at all. i'm wondering if i need a mini-break before football season, because it's weird to have so much on a game and not feel much...anyone have any similar experiences with this? if so, what did you do?

I'd say take a break because you are prone to mistakes when you get into a numb funk. Daily sports like bases require a break.

thanks john, i agree. i am going to cash out a lot of my money and re-group. i'll still be around here and there..and will come back in full swing in 2-3 weeks, or when football heats up.

      perfect example: DUMB BETS

      Wager Type: Money Line
      Wager Status: Pending
      Risk / To Win Amount: $2,071.31 / $460.29 (USD) Accepted 7/29/2007 6:27 PM - EST

Sport / Period: WNBA Basketball / Game
      Line:
      Phoenix Mercury 7/29/2007 7:00 PM - (EST)
      -450

risking all that on an wnba game? i didnt even check the records or the stats. blindly placed it...pretty dumb...considering indiana is due for a win and has a better record than phoenix....

      lol o well

Phoenix is ahead by 4 as of right now. GL dude

And yes a break is necessary, I think I need one soon.

Do you go out and do things while the games are on or do you sit around fretting about your bets? Maybe you don't need a break from betting, but you need a break from worrying and fretting about it. So, make your bets, then forget them and go out and do things. Check them the next day.
