First off if you are going to call the guy out get the numbers correct.

1. Bautista hit 15 HR in 2008 not 13
2. In 2011 Bautista hit 43 HR not 47
3. Don't know where you got the number of HR/year because his 11 year career average is 19 HR and 32 over an average 162 games
4. At age 25 he had his first 15+ HR season and has only dropped below that mark once in a 400+ at bat season (Hardly a cast off)
5. If you adjust his 2012 and 2013 seasons to project 162 games you will find he was on pace for 47 and 38 HR respectively

I guess its just out of the realm of possibility that at 27 years old, a 6 foot 205 pound outfielder gets a change of scenery, starts working with a new hitting instructor to changes the mechanics of his swing and starts crushing the ball. I am not saying he isn't on the juice and I am not saying that he is. I am just saying your argument is full of holes and inaccurate stats that make you look like you don't have the first clue of what you are talking about.

Just pointing your Joey bats stats not nearly as suspect as BA stats regarding steroids and individual seasons.

Brady averaged 19 hrs for every 162 games jose averages 32 and it will probably rise.
Brady hit 50 one year and never got 1/2 of that before or after. Jose has many power years on resume.
Players start to develop power a few years into career Ages 25-27 bats hit 15+ every year brady avg was 3hrs

I don't doubt Ortiz may have did steroids but he was not a doubles hitter. He just grew up. Ortiz started playing in Major leagues at 21 years old. He lost one year due to injury, In all his years in minn in 455 games he hit 58 homeruns. That's over 20 hrs a year if he played a typical season of 152 games a year like many MLB players. 20 a year at the beginning of a career means the guy has some power and will likely develop more power as he fills in. Very few players out of the gate are hitting over 20 homers a year.

The metrodome RF was also 25 feet deeper and left field was 45 feet deeper then at Fenway. So green monster was not as great an obstacle as you would think .

I heard a story a few years back about Minny. The organization has a certain way to play the game that they drive home from the minors on up. Players that don't hit, run, catch, etc to their structure are eventually moved no matter how "good" they may become. Free swingers or those that have a certain style especially are frowned upon. Ortiz was one and Tori Hunter another.

I agree. I had suspicions a few years a go that more than 1 guy on the Jays were juicing. Obv Joey Bats prime suspect. Bautista comes off as a total clown and has that angry roid freak sort of rage to him. Watch him at bat or even on the outfield and the guy is always doing these weird stretches like his body is full of tension but really he is just flexing all the time because he is totally roided.
