A List Of Top Books With Free Withdrawals
A few days ago I complained about the high fees some books were now charging for withdrawals. And said had I time I'd try to comprise a list of those that don't levy such charges.

I had to travel yesterday and after dinner sat in the hotel room and made the list. Not exactly a "labor of love," more of curiousity. The offshore scene is ever-changing.

This would show only the A and B rated books that are open to US players, that do not charge a withdrawal fee, for at least one method (Neteller excluded, obviously, tho some books I see are now charging for NT wds.) WD fees have become much more common since the passage of UIGEA.

    Nothing is cut and dried.

    (A) A few books, like The Pig, had their website down when I tried to access. Thus, I have no info on them.

    (B) I passed on those rated books that had their Home Page (HP) in a language other than English

    (C) I have not provided much detail (Go to the particular site for that.) Some books will charge for some wd methods, but not for others. Bank Wire and FedEx were the ones most commonly free, but again, there are exceptions. The Greek charges $35 for FedEx, tho less or nothing for other methods.

(D)I passed if the book did not have a link to WD info on their HP. I did check fairly throughly there tho, under Banking; Money; Finance; Deposit/Withdrawal; Site Map etc. One even had the WD info under FAQs!

If a book did not want to discuss it via a HP link, I assumed the worst. One place (BetPop) was the only book to headline Free Withdrawals, tho they didn't provide much info.

I did not contact - via phone, emal or live help - any book for that info. One, that I didn't and don't have the time, and second that the info should be available on their site.

    (E) Some books (Matchbook, Wagerline, Betallsports, Wsex) would provide that info only to existing clients, who logged in. Evidently believing that it was not an issue of much importance to their clientele.

    (E) With allmost all the books that do offer free wds, all I think do so only once a month (one once every two months), and almost all have maximums AND minimums that can be wd to qualify. And as noted some will offer free wds only via certain methods, but not others.

Some that do routinely charge do have free book to book transfers, which I have not listed.

The list is current as of July 7, 2007, with the exception of a few missed books due to tech problems, likely on their end. Things change, but I will probably bump this until early Sept and the start of foots, when many new bettors jump in.

ABC ISLANDS (bank wire and moneybookers only - I don't know if moneybookers is available to US residents)

    BET ATLAS

    BET DON (limits on payouts)

    BET JAMAICA

    BODOG

DIAMOND (only Moneybookers and Neteller, the latter I'm not counting)

    GUARDIAN

    BET HORIZON

    JAZZ (bankwire and Moneybookers only)

    JUST BET

    MANSION

    BET POP Every 60 days

    SOS

THE GREEK (free on most methods, with conditions; but only five dollars if conditions not met)

WAGERWEB (seems the most liberal re free wds)

I fully understand that wds are only a part of the total picture that a depositor must piece together in deciding on which books to use.

In some case the bonus with "pay to wd" books will be generous enough, and with friendly rollover reqs, that it will more than offset wd fees.

I also know that such significant perks like reduced juice and free half points will also take the sting out of high wd fees, and are of paramount importance to some players.

Ditto for great CS, an easy-to-navigate site, rewards, etc.

Likewise, if a free wd book has very slow pay, it is a negative that also must be factored in.

I made the list only because more books than ever, in the wake of UIGEA and problems with processors, are now charging wd fees, sometimes quite high (IMHO)

I welcome corrections and amendments to the list.

    Fire away.

Matchbook and WSEX free withdrawals, plus free book-to-book between them and Greek, and free transfers from Greek to Wagerstreet.

Book to book is important, because it takes the place of Neteller for funding books, and also allows you to transfer to a book with free withdrawals. In the new landscape it helps to think in terms of book families. If an up and coming book like Betonline isn't part of a familie it will make it much less attractive to fund. (Last time I did a bankwire I had to wait for over an hour at the f*cking bank.)

I'm wondering if Pinnacle would accept book-to-book transfers from American accounts with a request to transfer the money to Tradesports. My guess is not, but it's worth finding out. They have free book-to-book set up with TS.

Horse, I agree with you about the growing importance of free book-to-book transfers - perhaps someone else could come up with such a list before the start of football (with the knowledge that that list itsself will be ever changing).

I was focused only on the wds, due to time considerations, and that the foots only players (whom I suppose I was most compiling it for) likely will not be doing much book-to-book (or much withdrawing, come to think of it. A lot of depositing!)

          Appreciate your input.

I have been offered a free book to book transfer once from an Aussie book, globalsports to IAS or the other way round- don't really remember, but didn't do it. Felt too risky at the time. In Europe Neteller and MB still work rather flawlessly except their paranoia when it comes to proving your ID. As long as this is the case i don't really need book to book transfers.

As Moneybookers does not deal with the US, scratch Diamond off this list.

Also scratch Mansion from the list - does not accept US clients.

The SBR Rating Guide did not so indicate this fact.

                      Bumped in the night.

And makin' my first foot bet since Jan, Houston +1.

Now if only I can find a book that will let me parlay that team to a horse - the winner Sat of the Arlington Million. (Sharps at the Racing board will have it!)

Thank you for compiling very useful list!

I just wonder if BOOKMAKER should be on your list? It's A+ book and the following from their site:

Bank drafts may take 7-10 business days to arrive. One check request per week. Contact our Customer Service department at 1-866-9-BOOKMAKER (1-866-926-6562) to request now.
Must be requested before 12 noon EST Monday – Friday

Thanks for the heads-up. BOOKMAKER (A+) should definitely be on the list, for the free WD via Bank Draft, which I think means a check, in American parlance.

In my defense, I suspect they added this option since I put together my list. I don't think I would have missed that line in red under the first listed WD option!

And others here would likely have pointed our my error at the time of the initial list posting.

Hey, great. Hope other books join the free wd crowd. Some of us don't mind waiting for a check, if we're not on a scalping party.
