Actually, probably no time soon Austin. There are STILL enough idiots betting them to keep the books balanced and giving the dogs irresistable value. I mean you got one of the favorites for the Cy Young Award for +130 today.

I dont think its the manager although a change, any change, would probably help. This is a team that has Andy Pettitte as a starting pitcher. He couldnt even make Houston's bullpen and they suck. Yes I know their hitting is in a slump too now. Torre is proven but he cant will those pitchers to stop walking guys and hanging meatballs over the plate.

It's a perfect example of why people should be jumping for joy at the opportunity to fade the Yankees at these kinds of prices. The AL's ERA leader gets lit up by the yanks and the puny Oakland offense still blows them out.

Before today, Pettite had a better ERA than every Astros starter. Get a grip man.

He is and was finished. He was sent to the pen in Houston. He has no fastball. I've seen him play in person last year. He's toast with a capitol T.

I thought Torre should have quit last year. You knew the Yankees were going to have a rough season by their standards because of the lousy pitching and A-Rod controversey, plus Damon will always be hurt. They'll still make a run at the playoffs but I don't see them coming all the way back and making it.

Should have walked away last October.
