Wouldn't that only tell you the odds of hitting it? He's looking for the payout calculator? Or is that all based on a similiar formula? I'm a noob at parlay odds so thanks in advance.

Parlays are calculated like this:

Team A(1.50 odds)
Team B(1.40 odds)

Bet Amount $50

1.50 *1.40*$50=$105

Like this:

Say you take a -120 and then a -110 and then a +200 and then a +120, and your bet amount is $10

Every time you see something -, less than 100 it is 100/the number, so first we would go 100/120 and then you add 1 to that answer.
Every time you see something +, greater than 100 you take the positive number and divide it by 100. So 200/100 and then you add 1 to that answer.
((100/120)+1)*((100/110)+1)*((200/100)+1)*((120/100)+1)*$10


Then at the end subtract the amount of money you bet if you want to just see the profit.

Yes. In fact an SBR member hit an open 25-teamer at 5 Dimes. THAT's the way to do it because hitting a single-bet 25-teamer is next to impossible. With open parlays, you can always fill out with heavy chalk toward the end, and 5 Dimes didn't have any time constraints at the time in regards to filling out the parlay.

Google parlay calculator and there are 2 sites I think. Parlaycalculator.com only had 10 ifbu remember correcrly, but I think the other site may have more. It's very easy to use too. Just a suggestion

Really? Let's assume I have plenty of money to begin with, and I don't need to worry about going bust or the affects of variance. Let's also assume that I have found 3 games where I have a slight edge. All 3 games are offering me +120 on a true 50/50 probability (and for sake of argument, let's say I place the bets when all 3 games are +120, and by game time they are all pick'em in the market).

So, what way to bet these three games would I have a higher profit expectation? A $300 3 team parlay or three individual $100 straight bets? Fact is, i win 30% more money playing the parlay. I get back $3194.89 back 12.5% of the time opposed to $660 back 12.5%, $440 back 37.5% and $220 back 37.5% of the time with straight wagers. The same premise of paying more vig with a parlay is reversed with an added edge to the player if he has the edge on the prices when he bets.

Perhaps you should learn percentages.

I'll concede that most sports bettors rarely find games with player edges, but we all know they do exist, and it's simple math to conclude that parlays have a higher expectation when they are played, so your blanket statement that "parlays aren't the answer" is ridiculous.

These 25 team parlays are gravy for the books. You'll hit one maybe once a year assuming you're playing huge favorites like Russian Rocket ticket but it will take at least 100 attempts to hit one.

Any handicapper worth his salt will tell you the same thing.

Why do you insist on these ridiculous 25 team parlays? You have NO CHANCE to ever hit one even using your inflated -1400 chances. 25 inflated vigs all in one wager. Why don't you play powerball instead?

Russian Rocket somehow hit one and got only 12-1 for his troubles.
