Bet1128 cancels winning bet; does not respond to player email or follow policy
Bet1128 (not rated) cancels winning bet and does not respond to player email or follow policy. The 1128.com player wagered on a soccer total that he claims was in line with the market price. After the event had concluded and the wager had won Bet1128 canceled the bet, failing to adhere to its listed rule regarding faulty betting lines. SBR will contact 1128 on player's behalf

Bet1128 Rule 17: If during transcription, typing or printing a quoted odds is visibly incorrect (e.g. 1.50/2.50) the company reserves the right to reinstate the original odds even after the result is known. In such cases comparison with other bookmakers currently on the market will, in good faith, give evidence of the error.

    Player:
The line was balanced, the odds were normal for the moment, although there was a steam process, reflected in Pinnacle's odds of 2.11 for under 2.75 [goals]. Pinnacle's odds continued drifting after I placed my bets; they reached 2.26, and later the line was moved to 3 goals. Bet1128 removed the game, then posted it again 1/2 hour later, this time with a 3 goal total. My pick should have been a winner, as the game ended 0-4. I should have won $838.73

Bet1128 (SBR rating C-) once again stands by decision to void winning wager due to "an obvious line error." For the second time in two months the sportsbook ignored the players' argument that the bet should stand. Bet1128's betting rules state that their policy is to adjust the payout of bad lines to reflect the correct odds.

Bet1128 was Paradisebet and counts beside of 10Bet and other voiders to the worst bookies out there. Be careful with them or better: don't use them at all.

I'd advise the player to contact IBAS (www.ibas-uk.com)

IBAS are usually useless but in this case of a bet cancelled after the event I reckon they could help.

As they are registered with IBAS, they have to accept any ruling IBAS decide.

We have never seen a complaint where 10bet canceled after the game had started or concluded unless it was past posted. I recall the last person, a forum poster, to have a line cancelled before the game was given credit for a win of $750.

Can't hurt. 1128 blatantly ignores its own rule to regrade at correct odds.

It may be true that 10Bet doesn't cancel bets after the start of events (maybe other players still remember if that was the case or not, because I don't use them since a long time and am not sure anymore). But it is true for sure that they often only voided a bet in case the odds moved against them even if they were not out of line at the beginning. I am sure that many other players will have examples. It is good that 10Bet pays if a player complains here at SBR but they should do 'fair play' also without
the threat of getting a lower rating here.
My advice from own experience: don't use 10Bet
