Kelly not the only candidate that Notre Dame is interested in

Earlier this week it appeared the marriage between Notre Dame and Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly was on the fast track with Lou Holtz predicting it could be done by Friday. Twenty four hours from said date, there doesn't appear to be much clarity about Kelly's candidacy.

In fact, Randy Edsall of Connecticut is also apparently in the mix after a reported interview with Irish athletic director Jack Swarbrick. Edsall would be an interesting choice for a couple reasons.
