#39Neteller themselves and every self-proclaimed watchdog gave every indication that this was a completely secure and solvent place to hold money, whether $5 or $500K. The rule of thumb for financial planning is to keep 3-6 months of living expenses readily available in case of financial crisis. This money has been held hostage for nearly 5 months now. It's not at all unreasonable that even the most prudent on-line gaming professionals could be verging closer to disaster as a result of Neteller's incompetence/negligence/fraud.Comment -

#42Neteller is only screwed for you all because you are American. I still use Neteller regularly and it still works as good as it did when you all used to use it. The problem isn't Neteller's but your lousy government that has ruined the online gambling industry not only for Americans but for everyone else as well.Comment -

#44I feel bad for this guy but I doubt that he has more than $1,000.00 USD stuck in Neteller. I mean...how much are we talking about her? I don't blame Neteller. Our goverment is the one who seized these funds. Neteller isn't the one ruining lives...it's our goverment. I was winning a decent amount of money on a regular basis so this whole Neteller debacle has really put a crimp in my lifestyle.Comment -

Thats what Neteller wants you to believe. Neteller can pay. They just choose not to.
As to the US government. Neteller is accused of money laundering. Don't confuse that with the anti-gambling BS. Most likely, they are guilty of money laundering.
Just to take another angle. Do you think they would have the same amount of support from the public if they had paid up? Everybody they owe money too is forced to root for Neteller. Neteller is trying to change this into a case of the US government against the people. But it's not. The reason that they're not paying you is that they're playing you.Comment -

#47Before Neteller and before the UIGEA, millions of people in the worlds history commited suicide or had their lives and/or the lives of people around them ruined because of gambling losses.
Lets be real here, the gambling industry as a whole destroys peoples lives. Everyday in every way.
With that being said i cant stop myself from gambling. Its gambling or drugs for me. I cant go back to drugs.Comment -

Wow! There really are some people in this world that actually possess the power to think.
For those of you who think Neteller is a wonderful company, and that everything is still perfectly fine; you're not using your minds. Neteller is a corrupt company that got caught, and anybody who is still using them should proceed with caution, because they are still the same corrupt company. They will do the same thing to you when the heat comes again. Blame whoever you want but they'll still have your money.Comment -

#57Neteller continues to work as well as ever for the rest of the world.
I also don't understand how could they pay you guys if the money is frozen by US government. I find it hard to believe that Neteller type of business would have such amounts of cash available from other sources.Comment -

#59Any preferred method. Check, bankwire, you name it.
Or are you suggesting that they have no money? This is from back in February:

Neteller earned around $300 million dollars in the last 12 months. So why can't they pay us? Because they are looking for any reason to lay down and become stiffs? I think so ala BetOnSports.
They can easily pay the US clients. Anyway you cut it, they're crooks, and I for one won't shed a single tear if they get the stiffest possible penalty allowed under US law.Comment -

Should they send any monies to the USA through USA financial institutions to attempt to pay any USA users, they risk those funds being seized and held.
As they claim to have $50+ million seized already, it would be ludicrous to risk more funds until an agreement is reached with the USA authorities who caused the entire mess in the first place, including assurances that funds being sent to USA users will NOT be confiscated.
It appears that this is exactly what they have been working towards, and hopefully for the sake of the innocent USA users who have been hurt by the actions of their government, NETeller and the USAO can conclude this agreement and get these people their monies back.Comment -
