Use SBR form BEFORE accepting a bonus.
Bonuses are the cause for many discussions and problems for the books, the players and SBR.

You see it all the time: A book gives a signup bonus or a reload bonus.
Later when the winning player try to collect his winning the problems starts.
    The book claims:
    a) Multiple accounts.
    b) Not for your country.
    c) According to rule xxx
    d) You name it.

The book COULD and SHOULD check these issues BEFORE giving the bonus.
But we all know that very few books do it.

I propose that we, the players, turn this upside down.

Before we accept a bonus from a book, we ask the book to confirm in writing (email) that the account in question really is eligible for the bonus and that no claims to the contrary will take place at a later time.
If the book is unwilling to give this guarantee don't play at this book!

And it is here that SBR can help.

SBR can make a standard form players can use.

The problem maybe also that a book does not check bonuses that are applied as in the modern world everything is automated. Most books when signing up, you enter a promo code, or as soon as you deposit your bonus is applied.

There are systems in place on books that allow tracking and check signups for duplicates, however they are not nescessarily that efficient.

Sounds painful! I'm not saying that it isn't a good idea or anything, I'm saying that you wanna pull teeth before getting the bonus. Even with the terms and conditions stating such things as "Rules and regulations subject to change without notification" and such.

If you look at alot of threads however regarding bonus complaints and such, some of the stories seem a little on the off end by a bonus abuser or chancer, others look legitimate whereas the matter is usually resolved, either mutually by a client and book or with the assistance of SBR.

Just for fun, perhaps a test to the theory with a few of your books you currently play with, set up a new account, email them regarding their promotion and see if they'll respond with regards to the information you would request? (Ensure you close our the testing accounts after or you may be linked to multiple account come payout time )

Before I ever make a deposit at a book where I expect a bonus, I enter live chat or email:

      Hello,

My name is ____. My account is ____. I want to confirm that if I make a deposit of ____ you will credit a bonus of ____. I also want to confirm the rollover is ____ and there are no other rules attached. Please confirm.

      They always confirm.

You know, I recently wrote almost the same message before opening an account and got a positive reply. They were like ok, you got it, just send in your acct # and we will credit you.

After I joined and made a first deposit I wrote them and got no reply. I kept mailing them for a week or so yet they didn't even answer once.
My losses because of this were dazzling $40.
One of the well know european books.
        I'll just let it go.
