10k RL, 20k ML, 10k total. Some might have limits that are square root of 2 higher or another fraction.

But take a look at the NBA -- during last couple of days all games are circled and limits are slashed down to 3k-5k on spreads.

I guess the reason is that most leagues are already decided anyway so the teams have nothing to play for...

you can't use pinnacle, what good is it to know the limit. to tell you from experience, pinnalce pretty much has no limit. you can bet the limit and make another bet after a min...the line will move, but you can pretty much bet your entire bankroll on a game if you want.

Those days are over- betting the limit now moves the line too much. And I'm just curious what kind of MLB action pinny's getting now- if thats ok with you.

SBR has live betting lines, and it gets live updates from all sportsbooks, so you can see what the people at each sportsbook are betting.

overnight lines are circled in red (usually half the limit). circles goes away at the day of the game unless there is injury, weather, or someother crap that effect the game. occasionally a television game will be circled in blue (usually double the limit).

                        listen carefully

I'm NOT interested in flow of action on any particular game- I'm interested in the DIFFERENCE between what Pinny used to set as its standard MLB limit compared to it's current standard MLB limit. This value gives me a reasonable idea as to how much baseball action they have maintained- on average- compared to when they had access to the US market. This dropoff is what I'm curious about.

Viewed in this context, your "rule of thumb" has no value. I'm aware of how to track betting trends.

                        Thanks anyway.

Off topic, but it seems I have higher limits for Pinnacle then anyone else...my limits are like 1.42x higher then the norm in every sport. Anyone know the reason for this?

You take the worst of the closing line consistently.

                            Pinnacle "LMAO" at you, "FISH".

I also noted that a friend had 1.42x my limits and asked if I could have my limits increased. I got this (not very informative) answer:

                              Dear Sir,

Many of our clients do not have the same wager limits.

This is the reason clients are allowed to make second wagers on the reduced margin lines.

We regret any inconvenience, however, wager limits cannot be changed in an account.
