Satellite deal ruining baseball:
Major League Baseball season starts Sunday, which is a great thing. But for fans of teams from far off places this season will be tougher than in the past
Thanks to Bud Selig's deal with DirecTV to give the satellite company exclusive rights to MLB Extra Innings, cable subscribers will only be able see games in their market. Sure, you could download MLB.TV to watch games on your computer, but who wants to watch a game on a tiny screen that freezes up every now and then.
Selig has done some things right during his tenure as MLB Commissioner - the wild card, interleague play and an All-Star game that has meaning - but shutting out the majority of his fan base undoes all of that.
Between this and the ongoing steroids fiasco Selig is ruining Major League Baseball for the fans.
