^^^ Lt, i was in vegas this past weekend staying at the paris hotel, where their sportsbook had the bears favored, yes favored, to win the NFC at 3/1!!! I've looked on every book i can think of online and couldn't find close to that. It must have been a glitch on their board.

But anyways, the bears will be fine this year. Cutler will be a good QB. He's obviously not gonna average 300 passing yards in chicago, probably more like 225, but couple him with Forte and the offense is in good shape. The receivers will come around, believe me. WR is the most overrated position in the NFL anyway, you can win games without a superstar at the position. If the bears don't make the playoffs this year, it will not be because of jay cutler, it will be because their pass rush wasn't generating shit and their secondary couldnt cover anybody. If they don't make the playoffs this year, Lovie's out as coach.

I'd have to say Denver is colder and more extreme then Chicago. It's been hit or miss over the past 15 years with frigid weather and snow in Chicago. I'd say on the warmer side then 20 years ago.

I feel optomistic with the addition of Cutler to the team. Chicago will embrace him if he'll meet the fans half way. Both parties are adjusting to each other and time will tell as will wins and losses.

Chicago has not been traditional good to QB's historically but Cutler has the tools to trade that. Coming out of college he was compared to Brett Farve. Brett Farve was great in that frozen Tundra he played in for over 10 years, so Cutler should be able to adapt as well.

I remember how excited I was when we signed Kordell "flash" Stewart a few years back and he turned out to be a flop. Cutler looks better than anything Chicago's seen in years.

Chicago fans while they want results they'll patiently wait while the game book is developed. They will as long as it looks positive and hopeful back the new QB. Never found Chicago fans to be snap judger's..but they do require results! The faster this QB can become a member of the team and not the "new" guy the faster this team and the fans will jell. We just wanna "win"...and a 100 percent effort put in. The QB's that got rough treatment in Chicago were the marginal ones and indecisive players. If you put your heart into it on Soldier Field the fans will stand behind you. Anything less is not satisfactory.

Cutler had a poor game but he will bounce back... The Bears have to get some receivers that can run a route. Defense looked a little better...but this season is over for Bears.

Get the guy some real WR's and see what a great QB he will become. He was a stud in Denver was sad to see him go. I live in Colorado and got to see all his games. Hester is at best a #3

This is turning into a disaster for "Crybaby Cutler", 1 TD and 10 picks in the last four games. At least Grossman didn't pout like a child on the sidelines and point fingers. Cutler should have known what he was getting into with this Bears offense.

Cutler has been a bust this year...PERIOD! Yeah....he's not getting much help but he's not even attempting to protect the ball? On that last series last night...he tried forcing it to Olsen twice even though EVERYONE knows Olsen is his main target! I watched several replays of that last play and Earl Bennett was open on the goal line just to the left of Olsen but Cutler was so fixated on Olsen that he didn't see him! Cutler wasn't even heavily pressured last night either? He does have talent but he better get his head on straight and correct his mistakes before even worrying about the guys around him! I don't see Rodgers getting picked off 4-5 times and he has the worst O-line in football!

he's doing the exact same thing he did in Denver. Don't see any reason to expect a change.
And I won a Bears future voucher at the bash.....what a waste

Is Kyle Orton capable of passing the ball for more than 10 yds or does he have a dead arm? Against Pitt he was dinkin & dunkin 5 to 10 yards passes all night.

yes that looks like a problem. That's what the coaching staff is for. Expect them to adapt somehow. The elusive factor in handicapping.

His biggest flaw is red zone turnovers. If he can fix that he will be okay.

Admittedly I haven't seen all of Cutler's games but I always thought he was a bit over ratted. His attitude is definately a setback at times.

And imo all of Chicago's wideouts are at best #3's on another team. That said though I think they are only a (good) player away from having a pretty good offense.

    Cutler death watch back on!!!

He fumbles at the one yard line. Next possession, throws a weak interception. Now he throws an interception at the Washington 8 which goes for a TD.
